All Day Plantation Tour


Visiting antebellum plantations along the Mississippi River gives visitors to New Orleans a glimpse into the grace, grandeur and tragedy of early southern history.


Your guide will give you an understanding of the economic and cultural worlds that built, not only Louisiana, but so much of the United States we know today. Learn about industries such as oil, cotton, sugar, lumber, indigo and citrus and how they allowed Louisiana to become an import/export world power.

Half-Day Plantation Tour


This tour will visit two plantations.


The drive to and from each plantation will be narrated and a docent-led tour at each plantation will be conducted.  Time will be allotted to visit each plantation gift shop and participate in any craftsmen demonstrations that may be offered the day of your tour.


Lunch at a Plantation restaurant or local's restaurant between tours is recommended.

Citywide Driving Tour


While this tour does include a French Quarter segment, it is designed to give the visitor a comprehensive view of the City and some of it's neighborhoods. The tour covers the effects of Hurricane Katrina and present recovery efforts throughout the City. We will also visit St. Louis Cemetery #3, City Park, the Lakefront, the 17th Street Canal and a drive the length of St. Charles Avenue while visiting the University Section; Tulane and Loyola Universities. The tour concludes with visits to the Garden Distrcit, Lafayette Cemetery, the World War II Museum and Lafayette Square.  This is the most popular of all New Orleans Private Tours driving tours.

Hurricane Katrina: Past, Present and Future Driving Tour


This tour is a typical citywide driving tour that covers about 50 miles within the city limits and visits many historic neighborhoods and sites but focuses on the state of storm protection prior to the hurricane, what happened during the storm and what has been done to better protect the city and its citizens since the storm.
